Arrive in Rome and transfer to your centrally located hotel, set within easy reach of the city’s historic center. After time to settle in, meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers for a welcome drink, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. It’s an unhurried first evening, offering a chance to ease into Rome and get to know the group before the days ahead.

After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic drive through Rome, passing landmarks such as the Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, and the Jewish Quarter. The afternoon and evening are at leisure to explore the city independently. Your Tour Director will be happy to recommend restaurants or areas to visit, with time to enjoy dinner on your own and sample local Roman specialties, including the traditional supplì.
