DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
 

Day 1: WELCOME TO ISCHIA ISLAND

Arrive at Naples Airport or train station where you’ll be met by your driver and travel to the port for your speed boat transfer to ISCHIA ISLAND which boasts centuries of glorious architecture and art treasure, for your first three nights in a beautiful hotel located near the village center.This volcanic island is the largest of three islands on the Bay of Naples. A wonderful collection of spa towns, gardens, forests, white beaches, vineyards and picturesque Mediterranean sea views.Spend the first three nights of your Neapolitan Islands small group tour at the central “HOTEL REGINA PALACE” or similar.After an opportunity to rest and freshen up,you’ll be treated to a welcome aperitif followed by dinner in a local restaurant.Overnight in ISCHIA 

Day 2: HIGHLIGHTS OF ISCHIA,VILLA ARBUSTO & WINE TASTING

ISCHIA is the largest island in the Bay of Naples and it promises visitors an eyeful of idyllic island life. The Green Island, as Ischia is locally known, due to its lush landscape, is also famous for the hot springs that bubble up from its volcano.Today we will circle the island by private boat, with opportunities to swim in the sea along the way.In the morning, we’ll step into the island’s past at VILLA ARBUSTO, a wonderful 18th century building designed by the Duke of Altri, which is today home to an archaeological museum packed with classical Greek artefacts. Your guide will show you around, then you can explore the botanical gardens. Next, there’s a short trip to FORIO for a guided visit of the charming Soccorso church, boasting an intricate tiled dome that adorns the ceiling of the nave.Our included lunch will be taking place today at a family-owned WINERY, where many of the ingredients are home-grown. After lunch, we’ll visit the fishing village of SANT’ANGELO, one of the best-preserved on the island and the medieval ARAGONESE CASTLE, built in 474 BC. Return to your hotel for the rest of the day at leisure.Overnight in ISCHIA

Day 3: HANDS-ON-COOKING & SPA EXPERIENCE

This morning tour takes you to visit the house of a local chef for a memorable COOKING CLASS of some typical Ischia dishes followed by a hearty lunch together accompanied by excellent local wine.Afterwards, spend the rest of the day at a popular outdoor SPA which not only features one of the very best beaches on Ischia, but eight natural outdoor thermal pools of varying temperatures (from 86F to 106F), a seawater swimming pool (ambient temperature), a Turkish steam room (130F), massage therapy (prices not included) and more. The natural thermal springs were always an attraction in the Roman empire and Ischia was a favourite destination.Dinner is on your own this evening. Overnight in ISCHIA

Day 4: TIMELESS PROCIDA & LEMON FARM

Capri may be the favorite among the yacht set and Ischia a popular spa destination, but the authentic atmosphere and few tourists on PROCIDA make this sleepy island in the Campanian Archipelago a singular delight. In the morning, board your private boat for an unforgettable journey to PROCIDA, with its colorful fishing village, pristine beaches, and picturesque coastline. Upon arrival,joina local guide for a walking tour through the narrow streets of the historic center to discover the traditions, culture and unique architecture of the island.The tour will end in the picturesque fishing port of Marina Corricella where the absence of traffic will make the walk particularly pleasant. You will then being transferred to a popular LEMON FARM for a real family experience and tasting their typical Limoncello di Procida.Spend the night at the enchanting “SAN MICHELE BOUTIQUE HOTEL” or smilar, with dinner and breakfast included.Overnight in PROCIDA

Day 5: LA DOLCE VITA IN PROCIDA, DIVINE CAPRI & THE BLUE GROTTO

A lazy start!!! Your morning is at leisure to get the authentic charm of Procida.The island has a long history to tell, rich in traditions, unique customs, delicious gastronomy, breathtaking natural landscapes and architectural beauties which have inspired both writers and film makers of world-wide reputation.After lunch on your own, board your private boat to the most uniquely Mediterranean island of CAPRI, located in the Tyrrhenian sea off the Sorrentine peninsula, on the south side of the gulf of Naples. A stark mass of limestone rock rising sheerly through impossibly blue water, Capri is the perfect microcosm of Mediterranean appeal- a smooth cocktail of vogueish piazzas and cool cafes, Roman ruins, rugged seascapes and holidaying VIPs, whitewashed buildings, labyrinthine lane-ways. Blue skies, breathtaking views, turquoise waters, today you’ll be shown an oasis for artists, writers and celebrities. Upon arrival by private boat, visit the iconic and impressive BLUE GROTTO (Grotta Azzurra) followed by a tour around the island.Transfer to your central boutique “HOTEL MAMELA” or similar, for the last three nights of your Neapolitan small group tour.Dinner is on your own this evening. Day 6: CAPRI AMORE MIO & FARMHOUSE EXPERIENCE

CAPRI was a summer home for the Roman emperor Augustus and today is popular with celebrities. After breakfast, meet your local tour guide for a visit to the hidden corners of the colorful historical area, the CARTHUSIAN MONASTERY founded in 1363,with its unique frescoes depicting where the monks previously tended their medicinal herb gardens.We also visit the botanical GARDENS OF AUGUSTUS, from where to enjoy stunning panoramic views and the VILLA SAN MICHELE, built about the end of the 19th century by the Swedish physician and author Axel Munthe. After an included lunch in a local farhmouse, we’ll explore beyond CAPRI town and its uphill rival ANACAPRI for a chairlift experience to the summit of MONTE SOLARO (weather permitting), Capri’s highest point. The views from the top are utterly unforgettable.The rest of today is at leisure to discover more in depth this magical island.Overnight in CAPRI ISLAND

Day 7: LA DOLCE VITA IN CAPRI

The morning is free to shop, explore and relax in this beautiful island. Maybe go for a dip in the azure ocean or simply wander through Capri’s elegant gardens, posh cafes or take a walk to Punta Tragara to admire the “Faraglioni Rocks” rising up from the deep blue sea.There might be the opportunity to enjoy a real hiking to the massive Roman Villa Jovis of Emperor Tiberius. Your tour director will be pleased to accompany you on this adventure.Tonight we’ll celebrate your small group tour with a dinner at one of the typical regional restaurants.
